Matt Alexander is an award winning editorial, PR, corporate, sports and wedding photographer based in London.
Graduating with a BA (Hons) in photography, Matt has worked as a professional photographer for over ten years for a picture agency and various regional daily newspapers. Having developed his dynamic and energetic style as Chief Photographer and then Deputy Picture Editor for the Nottingham Post, Matt began his freelance work. Matt’s easygoing and friendly approach ensures his innovative and creative ideas are realised, producing lively and imaginative images on time and to brief. He has published in The Times, The Telegraph, The Observer, The Daily Mail, The Daily Express, The Nottingham Post, The Gloucestershire Echo, Cycling Plus and Cycling Weekly, among others.
Matt’s skill, passion and enthusiasm have been recognised throughout his career: in 2007 Matt was awarded News Photographer of the Year at the Midlands Media Awards, and his work was highly commended in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Matt is available for editorial, PR and corporate commissions, sporting events and weddings, and would be happy to discuss any projects in the UK or further afield.
Matt lives in Surrey with his wife and son, Oscar.
